Well done to our 5 club athletes who competed for their secondary schools at the Leinster Combined Event in Abbotstown yesterday. It was the first combined event for Doireann Power and Isabella Gogan, and first indoor combined event for Nia Hetherton and Aoife Rohan. They all did very well. Amy Callaghan placed second in the Intermediate event and qualified for the national finals in November.
COMPETITION TIME, we have two tickets to “Abba Esque” who will be playing in Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA Club on Saturday 21st September at 8pm, up for grabs. If you would like a chance of winning them, head over to our Facebook page and just tag the person you’d like to bring with you. This night is being held in support of the “John Gough Trust” and it would be great if you can support this worthy cause. Draw will take place on Thursday the 19th of September.
Training resumes next week for the following:-
Monday 2nd Sept 7-8pm for U10 years to U14 years
Tuesday 3rd Sept 7-8.30pm for U13 years to Snrs
Wednesday 4th Sept 7-8.30pm for U12 years to Snrs…
Friday 6th Sept 5-6.30pm for U11 years to Snrs High Jump
Saturday 7th Sept 11-12.30pm for U12 years to Snrs (Including Hurdles)
Thursday night training group Age 6 years to Age 11 years, training will resume on Thursday the 12th of September from 7pm to 8pm.
All members are asked to come prepared to training with correct footwear, light rain clothes and drink.
