Sensational performance by Elizabeth Morland in Arona, Tenerife where she broke her own Senior Irish record in the Heptathlon, she gained 5669 points which is also a qualification for the European Juniors which will be held in Grosseto, Italy in July. The standard points required was 5100. Over two days competition Elizabeth clocked a time of 14.01 in the 100m hurdles, jumped a new outdoor PB of 1.76m in the high jump, threw 10.73m in the shot put, jumped 5.87m in the long jump, gained a new PB in the javelin with a throw of 41.98m, and Elizabeth clocked 25.13 in the 200m and finally ran a time of 2:22.30 in the 800m.
