National Championships Day 3

Well done tour five athletes competing at Day 3 of the National Juvenile Championships in Tullamore today.  Zoe Mohan won her third national title in 3 weeks when she took gold in the U19 girls Hammer, with a best throw of 44.11 metres, just under her personal best.  Also competing today in the U15 Javelin was Amy Callaghan, Emily McGreal and Amy Bellew, all girls threw very well getting to the last eight, with Amy Callaghan finishing in 4th place, Emily in 6th place and Amy Bellew in 8th place.  In the U14 200m Laura Bolster ran brilliantly to finish second in her heat getting through to the final where she ran very well and just missed out on the medals coming 4th overall.

Well done to all our athletes who did so well this outdoor season, and to their coaches for all their hard work and encouragement.  Enjoy your well earned break.
