On Sunday the 27th of January two of our Senior team athletes represented the club at the National Indoor Junior and Under 23 Championships in Athlone Institute of Technology. Michael O’Sullivan competed in the men’s U23 shot put where he came second and threw a personal best with a throw of 11.21m. Zoe Mohan competed in the junior women’s weight for distance which was the first ever junior indoor weight for distance for women. She came first with a throw of 5.92m which earned her a national indoor record. The club would like to congratulate Michael and Zoe on their performances and wish our other senior athletes the best of luck with their indoor seasons.
