| Four members made the trip down to Limerick last weekend to compete in the Community Games National Finals. First up early on Saturday morning was Lee Callaghan, competing in the Javelin event Lee competed very well with the heavier weight of 500g to place 6th overall. On Saturday afternoon Aoife Rohan was competing in the Hurdles, having sailed through her heat on Saturday and her semi final on Sunday morning, in the final Aoife ran brilliantly and was unlucky to miss out on medal position by one place. On Saturday afternoon, Amy Callaghan competed in the High Jump and jumped very well to secure the Silver medal, while on Saturday evening competing in the Discus, Niamh Quinn threw her way to securing her medal coming 4th, well done to all. |
