Under 16 Upwards will be an open event competition for Shot Putt, Long Jump and High Jump (Standard set on the day to be able to participate)

 

Clubs must ensure that competitors are technically competent in field events for which they are entered, as lack of technique constitutes a danger to the competitor or others.

 

Starting blocks compulsory for U13 Upwards

For field events only, athletes may move up one age group where there is no competition for their age group. The committee reserves the right to amend the list of events without notice.

 

***** Special Tiny Tots Event *****

  Tiny Tots race will be the first race of the day.

30m sprint for boys and girls.

 

Standards in Long Jump will apply.

All athletes must be registered. Age as 2018                         

Under 11 and upward may wear spikes.

 

Admission:    Adults €3.00

                       Juveniles €2.00

Teas, Sandwiches, etc. available on the day.

Reminder our registration night will take place Monday 8th of January 2018 at 7pm in the clubhouse, there will be no training on this night.  All current members must renew their membership on this night and new members welcome.  As per last year unregistered members will be unable to train as they will not be insured, this rule comes from the County Board and we must adhere to it.  Please note that we are unable to take Children under the age of 6 years, and bear in mind we can only register a limited number of 6 to 7 year olds .  We will have some coaches present on the night to answer any questions you might have so please come along.

Our training sessions have now finished for 2017 and the coaches would like to thank all the children who trained with us during the year, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We would like to wish all our Members and their families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and thank you for all your support and assistance throughout 2017. We look forward to seeing everyone at our Registration night on the 8^th of January 2018 at 7pm.

OPEN REGISTRATION NIGHT

WE WILL BE HOLDING OUR OPEN REGISTRATION NIGHT ON MONDAY THE 8^TH OF JANUARY 2018 FROM 7PM, LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING ALL CURRENT MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS ON THE NIGHT.
