AAI Games & National Combined Events

It was another busy weekend for some of our older athletes who competed today and yesterday in the AAI Games and Irish Life Health Combined Events in Santry. They all did very well putting in some great performances.
Amy Callaghan came third in the U16 Girls Pentathlon competing in the 80mhurdles, long jump, shot put, high jump and 800m. Aine O’Sullivan came fifth overall in the Youth Women Heptathlon competing in the 100mHurdles, high jump, shot put, javelin, long jump, 200m sprints and 800m. Aine also competed in the javelin event at the Tailteann Schools Interprovincial Championships on Saturday contributing to the overall win for Leinster. Elizabeth Morland came first in the women’s 200m sprints, first in the Women’s javelin and second in the Women’s high jump. Michael O’Sullivan came third in the Men’s Discus. Well done!
